ARTS IN NOOD' richt zich op psychosociale problemen van artsen die invloed kunnen hebben op de kwaliteit van de zorg die zij verstrekken. Het is een onafhankelijke hulporganisatie voor alle artsen en hun omgeving gericht op zowel preventie, als op het aanreiken van een zorgkader voor psychische hulp, waaronder burn-out, depressie, verslaving, 2nd victim trauma, suïcidale gedachten. Daarnaast is het een kenniscentrum en een centraal contactpunt voor alle geïnteresseerden, waarin een unieke expertise wordt uitgebouwd, en informatie over deze problematiek wordt samengebracht en toegankelijk gesteld.
