Founded by artist and entrepreneur Paul Field, Artshine’s mission is to bring the joy and transformative power of art to every corner of Canada and beyond. Through our innovative mobile art school, after-school programs, and art-in-a-box subscriptions, we’ve reached over 350+ schools… And inspired over students. Children, adults, and educators alike. Paul’s Vision: Art as a Lifeline A brief look at Paul Field’s journey to founding Artshine and Arts4All: Paul’s journey began in the field of social work… Where he saw firsthand how art could be a lifeline for those struggling with life’s challenges. Paul used art to create safe spaces for healing and growth. However, he quickly realized that consistent funding for art programs was always in short supply. That’s why Paul founded Artshine—to create a sustainable model that would keep these essential programs alive; Arts4All. Paul’s Vision: Expanding Access to Creativity Through Arts4All: Arts4All, Artshine’s nonprofit initiative, brings free art programs to underprivileged communities across Ontario and Québec. Our social enterprise model has provided over $1 million in free and subsidized art programs since our start.
