Arvada Fire currently maintains 8 active fire stations throughout approximately 41 square miles in the City of Arvada, the northern portion of the City of Wheat Ridge, and portions of unincorporated Jefferson County. Nearly 200 employees serve approximately citizens. Arvada Fire provides a wide range of emergency response programs including fire suppression, technical rescue, water rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services. The department also provides numerous community risk reduction programs including business inspections, plan review, home safety visits, school programs, community activities and more.
