That product, Arxview DCAE, finally gives users a clear view into their stored data and provides the insight they need to intelligently manage their storage use. Arxscan has recognized that the views around the data need to be structured in a way that both the IT and business stakeholders can analyze and take ownership of the information. The Arxscan, Arxview application: Discovers a company's stored files and classifies them to mirror the structure of the business; by company, division, department. all the way down to the user. Monitors and reports on appliance level power utilization. Can be implemented in a matter of an hour. Provides live and historical storage array performance metrics and alerts. Is compatible with all known brands and types of storage appliances. Maps usage and performance down to the VM instance. Migrates data at the file level to lower cost tier and/or cloud platforms.
