AsaliyaBibi literally translated as grannies’ honey is in reality named to honour considerable role played women especially in African societies who are the caretakers and of course the queen bees of our nucleus families. Since introduced to the market mid of 2014, Asaliyabibi has gained its trust and popularity as one of the leading quality table honey in domestic market. A natural bee honey is processed and packed in Dar es Salaam. Our honey is sourced from the natural forests in Malongwe and Goweko villages in Tabora, the western corridor of Tanzania, a place rich in wildflowers for a particular taste, colour and aroma. Our main suppliers are women groups at Malongwe and Goweko villages. We adhere to Beekeeping Regulations of the year 2005 which require among other things, honey for retail to be packed in hygienically clean, well sealed jars which are food graded, acid resistant, non reactive to the content and cannot cause the transfer of foreign odors to the honey. All our honey products are registered and certified under Tanzania Bureaus of Standards (TBS), and thus safe for human consumption.
