Asat-Foundation

The objective of the ASAT-Foundation is to promote the, ASAT concept, Assuring Safety without Animal Testing. The Foundation pursues its objectives by: • Making available knowledge about public health protection risk assessment and the relevant biological processes in man, • Making available. knowledge about existing and newly emerging technologies that are able to advance the understanding of these biological processes in man, to identify indicators for health risks and that can contribute to developing experimental models for testing chemicals, • Contributing to the development of an international ASAT-Network for scientists, stakeholders ranging from regulators and policy makers to NGOs and media and the general public
