Ascent First Aid

The team at Ascent First Aid is a small but experienced team with great knowledge of first aid skills and abilities. Our ethos ties in with that of our awarding organisation ITC First Aid in that we will strive to offer our best and to always do the right thing for you. “Quality, is attention to many details without losing sight of the ultimate objective.” Ian Moore – Operations Manager, ITC Ascent First Aid trainers haven’t lost interest due to instructing in a fun, enjoyable, but most importantly, memorable manner. They are always enthusiastic and have strong first aid backgrounds in the urban, sports and outdoors environments. Our Team Members Luke Evans Ascent First Aid Trainer Luke’s ethics are that everyone and anyone should have the opportunity to learn first aid in whatever sector they work and live in or where their hobbies lead them too. Luke has been teaching first aid since January 2013 beginning his career in this sector with React First where he is still a trainer with them to date. Trained by some of the best instructors in ITC he has now developed Ascent First Aid. Background Since leaving the office environment in December 2012 he found his passion back in the outdoors. In 2012 Luke trained in a specific outdoor first aid course delivered by React First. After seeing the way it was instructed and how fun and memorable it was to him, he decided this was his next step. Instructing first aid. Over the years Luke has completed his Summer Mountain Leader Award and began his first step towards his International Mountain Leader Award. He summited his first high altitude mountain, Kilimanjaro in October 2014. Luke is now training 4-5 courses a week in Emergency First Aid at Work, Outdoor First Aid, Sports First Aid and Paediatric First Aid and enjoying every moment of it!
