Ascentia Systems focuses on passive construction using SIPS panels. This is a solution for anyone looking for an energy-neutral building system. SIP stands for Structurally Insulated Panel. Ascentia SIP panels have an outer structure of OSB-3 boards with a thermal and acoustic insulating core of Elastopor®H PUR foam insulation in between. The perfect solution for fast construction of thermally efficient, airtight structures. The combination of the OSB and the insulating core produces a SIP panel with unprecedented rigidity. SIP panels are insulation and support in one. SIP panels can therefore be very thin, but are also constructive. A SIP panel with a thickness of 145 mm makes it possible to achieve an Rc value of 5.56, well within the building regulations.
