Situated within the Monart Arts Center in Ashdod’s Cultural Quarter, the Ashdod Art Museum invites visitors to explore a dynamic array of rotating exhibitions showcasing contemporary Israeli art. The museum is housed in a distinctive structure—a glass pyramid that crowns three circular exhibition floors arranged around a central atrium. These levels are interconnected by iron staircases, reflecting the city’s industrial heritage. Across thirteen intimate gallery spaces, the museum delves into themes of local identity, mirroring Ashdod’s unique character as a multicultural Israeli city rich in diverse identities. The museum features works by both emerging and established artists, Israeli and international, across various mediums including sculpture, photography, installations, and video art.
