Asia Pacific Groups (APG) was established and incorporated in California in June 1987 as an HMW & JK Enterprises, Inc subsidiary. The company was initially organized to do business in real estate investment, development, brokerage, and finance. In 1992, it started developing mortgage banking and a mortgage brokerage business. Special emphasis was put on short-term commercial and equity lending. The total funding for the first year was and it expanded rapidly to 2009, the company expanded into property management, emphasizing the San Francisco Peninsula and East Bay.
