AsiaBaseMetals Inc.(the "Company"/ TSX.V:"ABZ") is a Canadian mining company. The Company is currently exploring its highly prospective "Gnome Project"; a 100% owned Cobalt/Zinc exploration property/project in the heart of the geological trend that is home to the Cirque deposit ("Teck" and Korea Zinc ("KZ") joint venture (:T-KZ-JV"), and the Cardiac Creek deposit (NPV:$649 m & Post-Tax IRR: 27%). The Company, in spite of the recent and persistent down-turn in the mining sector (lasting for over 15 year), has maintained and advanced the highly prospective Gnome Zinc/Cobalt project, and prudently through adverse market conditions "without causing any undue shareholder dilution". The adverse market conditions for mining sector, as noted above, have been been further magnified by:(1) the economic difficulties caused by the Covid epidemic’s supply-chain issues (2020 through 2023); and (2) the resulting high inflation rates to fight inflation (2023 - present); and (3) the implications of the recent implementation of tariffs/duties imposed by U.S.A.(Mar, 2025) The Company's experienced and successful directors, management & advisory board (the "Team"), having a great track record in the sector, believes that the persistent current down-turn in the mining sector truly provides a great opportunity. The Key to Innovation & Success in Mining Sector" is to "Take Advantage of Cyclical Market Down-Turns" through acquisitions of highly prospective and advanced projects; as was the case when the Gnome project was acquired. As such, the company to take advantage of the current market down-turn in the sector has undertaken to diversify its assets and seek out, review, and acquire advanced Copper & Gold assets in safe mining friendly jurisdictions, while continuing to advance its current project prudently.
