ASIGE empowers women and young people to acquire skills while providing the world an option to use enviromentally friendly products. ASIGE is able to convert elephant grass into innovative products for home and institutional usage. Our products ranges from shopping baskets, laundry, fans, pet homes, fruits trays and bowls and many others. ASIGE started in 2016 in Ghana in one community and now in six different communities in Ghana working with over 500 women and young people who were on the street. ASIGE through their B2B partners, have their products selling in 15 different countries. ASIGE is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation and had been certified as People and Planet First Business by Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF). In 2024, ASIGE was incorporated in the UK to continue its growth and social activities. Purchasing a product from ASIGE, the profit goes to support girls education and health course for young people.
