asjaGen, now TOTEM ENERGY is an Italian company part of the Asja Group specialist in energy efficiency and particularly in microcogeneration. TOTEM ENERGY flagship product is the microcogenerator TOTEM: it consists of an internal combustion engine designed to be fired with natural gas, coupled with an alternator for power production: the heat otherwise wasted is recovered from exhaust gases, cooling water and lubricating oils through a heat exchanger system. Such a process is highly efficient (up to 106%) and enables the production of cheap power & heat to meet the end-user demand with great savings. Currently TOTEM is available in 10, 20 and 25 kW electric (respectively 22, 42 and 50 kW thermal). TOTEM is created to be a benchmark for micro-combined heat & power solutions. Following an approach of extreme quality and transparency TOTEM will indeed be the first microcogenerator in the European market whose performances and compliances are verified and certified by an international certification body. Besides, TOTEM is a great and safe investment: the extremely low operation costs allow a very short payback period (2+ years)!
