Aspire 4 Higher

Aspire for higher is a georgia based 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing applied educational experience to underrepresented students in the fields of building and construction. through hands-on projects, the aspire for higher platform extends “in the field” opportunities to students actively enrolled in trade schools, colleges, and universities. founder amber lawson is committed to giving back to aspiring students through mentorship, financial scholarships, applied experience, and apprenticeships. she and her work have been featured at the georgia tech school of architecture, the national association of black women in construction, rolling out magazine, the atlanta wealth building initiative, the city of atlanta website, radio shows, and more. afh’s board of directors consists of professionals from diverse backgrounds, who are dedicated to the mission of opportunity for underrepresented students in building and construction industries and sub-industries.
