Aspiring Barristers is an organisation centred around supporting aspiring student barristers from underrepresented groups within the profession with their journey towards the Bar. The primary aim of Aspiring Barristers is two-fold: Firstly, to introduce increased diversity initiatives across the profession to foster the development of enhanced diversity at the Bar; and Secondly, to further promote an ethos of increased accessibility at the Bar irrespective of personal characteristics, background, or means, so that the profession remains a serious option open to all talented aspiring student barristers. Aspiring Barristers provides a variety of initiatives; each designed to meet its primary aims.
