Assault Forward

Assault Forward was founded by three US Army Veterans. We wanted to show our pride of service and support of the military by displaying a reverse American flag in professional settings. Our business is based around a unique and deeply meaningful depiction of the American Flag. All three of us deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan during our time on active duty. While in combat we wore the reverse flag on the right shoulder of our uniforms - field of stars to the right, charging into battle. While serving in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom the patch worn was subdued in color - just like our pins. In wearing these pins we realized that a lot of people were asking about them. Saying things like,"what does it mean when it’s that way?" Or,"I know it's not 'backward', but why is it facing that direction?". This was a great opportunity to start a conversation, talk about our military service, and connect with people.
