he Activity of Astrakis company, began in 1979 by two brothers, Christos and Costas Astrakis. They began constructing sofas and in a short period they developed a factory with vertical line of production and the most hi-tech and sophisticated machines, able to construct nowadays any kind of wooden furniture. The continuous progressive course made the company one of the largest and well-known companies producing and selling furniture in Greece. One of the main concerns of the company has always been the very high quality of its products. Nowdays, the second generation of Astrakis family is part of the company. Akis Astrakis, architect of the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki and Soti Astraki, architect of the Democritus University of Thrace. They are both in charge of the design of the furniture, the architectural and decoration proposals for the customers. Beside the construction of furniture, the company takes care of everything a house might need. A highly trained and experienced department of the company is dealing with curtains and is in charge of measuring, sewing and placing them.
