Asv Kwakiutl

ASV Kwakiutl has been active since 1987 for students of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at the UvA. Our goal is to give anthropology students the opportunity to develop further alongside their studies by means of our study-deepening and broadening activities such as lectures, film evenings and the study trip. In addition to academic depth, we also want to create an environment where students can meet and get to know each other. By bridging the gap between the academic and social fields, we hope to create a place where all anthropologists feel at home. We have also since last year become an international study, welcoming students from every corner of the world to engage in anthropological questions and to bond with classmates within the same field.
