Atelier Encaixe is a woodworking and furniture restoration studio based in Portugal, combining over 30 years of experience with deep technical mastery of traditional craftsmanship. We specialise in conservation and restoration of wooden furniture, gilding, patinas, timber-frame construction, and high-quality bespoke carpentry. We also operate as an educational hub, welcoming international trainees through the Erasmus+ programme and offering hands-on training in traditional woodworking techniques, surface finishing, gilding, marquetry, and timber-frame building. Students from countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Estonia, Finland and others join us every year to develop real professional skills in an immersive workshop environment. Our work serves private clients, schools, cultural institutions, and design professionals who value authenticity, precision, and respect for materials.
