The @lantis Learning Community (@LC) has ONE principal objective; make the world a better place by providing the best “Learning Environment” to discover new knowledge, and make that knowledge available to others. The best “Learning Environment” is one that, while taking advantage of traditional onsite classrooms and conferences, uses the Internet and Digital Libraries to facilitate collaboration, enhance knowledge acquisition, and improve information sharing. The @LC is based on the premise, “A Rising Tide Rises All Ships.” The fundamental belief driving the @LC is; helping “each of us” make better decisions helps “every one of us” make better decisions. The result is everyone in the community benefits. The @LC is “Cloud” based but with a strong @LC Copyrighted Gateway between the public network and private networks. This ensures the information moving around the community is secure, transparent, and verifiable.
