Atlas Of Switzerland
The Atlas of Switzerland, the official Swiss National Atlas, is available for free directly on our website. This interactive atlas features over 400 thematic maps covering a wide range of topics, from history and tourism to nature, and economy, and much more! Originally initiated by the Swiss federal government in 1961, the atlas was published in print between 1965 and 1997, featuring around 600 maps. At the start of the 21st century, it transitioned to a digital format. The Atlas of Switzerland is now available directly in the browser, and it works on computers, tablets, and phones. The Atlas of Switzerland offers stunning visualizations along with navigation and interactive tools. Each map is enriched with explanatory text, charts and images. While the primary focus is Switzerland, the atlas also includes thematic maps of Europe and the world. Published by the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation at ETH Zurich, the atlas is continuously improved and updated. Try it out and dive into the fascinating world of maps.
