Atonor

Atonor draws from an almost unlimited arsenal of ideas for making music. They present a show of imagination, sound, light and performance. The unique instruments are forged by German sound artist Erwin Stache. Some are everyday objects that break into bizarre worlds of sound, others are completely new constructions. Atonor uses them to produce electronic rhythms, acoustic acrobatics and musical experiments. The Leipzig ensemble moves through the program with a subtle sense of humor and creates numerous moments of astonishment. Atonor does concerts, musical supporting programs, art events in interesting locations, workshops and participatory projects. The group consists of three to five people acting onstage, in films and in public spaces.
