The Company trading under the name “Attiki Diodos S.A.”, was founded in August 1993 by Nikolaos Thanasoulas son of Ioannis, Civil Engineer & Dimitrios Panagopoulos son of Michael, Architect Engineer. Initially the name of the company was “Diodos Societe Anonyme”, before being renamed to the current name in October 1995. The company operates both within the public and private sectors delivering engineering and project management excellence within the built environment. Specifically, the purpose of the company pursuant to article 2 of its articles of association has been formed as follows-The study and execution of technical projects of whichever nature and speciality, pertaining to the Public and Private Sector of the Economy, to wit of projects relating to the state, to Legal Entities of Public Law, to Public Utility Corporation’s, to Banks, Institutions, Cooperatives and to all, by and large, remaining projects of the Public and Private Sector that are performed both in Greece and abroad-The trade in every sort of building materials, quarrying materials, tools and machinery, pertaining to technical projects in general, which shall be produced by the company itself or which shall be bought by it in Greece and abroad-The production and trade in such materials, tools and machinery, devices, mechanisms and machinery which shall be used in technical projects, generally with a view to their incorporation or fitting out, irrespective of whether these projects have been constructed by the company itself or by third parties, thus rendering the purpose of the company, according to the point at issue, the trade in these items.
