The following issues are within our competence: 1. Government bodies relations: Handling incoming requests of state agencies – Federal Antitrust Service, Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, Ministry of Transport, Federal Agency for Air Transport, Border Service of the Federal Security Service, Federal Customs Service, Federal Tax Service. Advising client on the substance of requests, drafting answers and reversal requests for information. Pre-trial and trial work: Handling incoming customer claims, representation of client interests in civil jurisdiction courts and in Rospotrebnadzor agencies throughout Russian Federation. Assisting client at negotiations with counterparties (including with agencies), collecting payable debts in courts of arbitration. Agreement work: lease contract, Performing checks of existing and newly concluded agreements with agencies, airport authorities and service providers, business partners. Structuring and drafting new agreements upon client request, including complex agreements (client loyalty program participation agreement, joint marketing event agreement and such). Tax planning and optimization: Analysis of existing tax payments and regimes, search and implementation of tax planning strategies, negotiations with tax agencies and counterparties regarding calculation and payment of taxes and advising on tax exemption possibilities for foreign airline companies in Russian Federation and tax return claims handling. Employment relations:Advising client on various aspects of employment relations with both Russian and foreign employees of the client’s representative offices throughout Russia, representing client b Opening of representative offices of international airlines in the territory of the Russian Federation; Participation in improvement of current and development of new legislation of the Russian Federation regulating air transportation.
