I work best with people like you: Who feel deeply and care for others, who succeed against the odds, who refuse to let adversity keep them down and who desire meaningful connections with others. You have a lot to offer and still often feel short-changed - especially when it comes to relationships. I focus on developing a trusting therapeutic relationship that's built upon non-judgment and connection. I believe and honor the fact that you are the expert of you. I use a curious, not knowing, approach to learn about you and what you want to achieve in our work together. I see myself as the passenger who guides you as the driver. I regularly ask for your input and permission to ensure that you feel as safe as possible. My approach includes techniques that include your mind-body connection, the heart and the spirit to heal your soul wounds and accept of all your parts - especially the parts that you may suppress or reject. I use different approaches because "talk" therapy is only one of the many ways to process your experiences and it can be very helpful. But, words don't exist for everything. If that were true, you would solve all of you problems by talking through them.
