Atu Student Managed Fund

The GMIT Student Managed Fund is an Economics, Finance and Trading student society that manages an investment portfolio under guidance of experts. The Fund is designed so that any student from any degree can participate. Through the use of professional software, lectures, seminars and guest speakers working in industry, students are aided in the appreciation and skills necessary for day-to-day investment fund operations, gaining experience with the data, tools, presentations and organizations involved in investing. Besides the hands-on applied learning experience gained through participating in the SMF, students gain the necessary knowledge to make fundamental economic decisions and increase their financial skills.
