Audley Brass

Audley Brass are a self-supporting brass-band organisation that rely on donations to continue making music and keep the traditional brass-band alive. We are a registered charity and have two bands - the Main Band and the Community Band. The Main Band regularly perform concerts throughout the local area and represent Audley and Staffordshire in competitions nationwide. The Community Band is open to advanced beginners and improvers of all ages and abilities providing music education, support and tuition along with the loan of a brass instrument. The Main Band have recently gained promotion and will compete in the First Section nationally from January 2025. They have also recently qualified for the National Brass Band Finals and will represent the Midlands area in Cheltenham in September 2024. As well as fundraising for the National Finals, the band also need to finance its running costs which includes rates, utilities, instrument repair and general maintenance.
