We do this, in partnership with technology providers, project developers, advisors and local operators, by developing, owning and operating the assets for our customers, allowing them to focus their resources, capital and team on their core business. August Energy is backed by Asia-Pacific Sustainable & Decarbonisation Infrastructure Equity LP ("SDIEF") and Green Tower. SDIEF is an investment fund sponsored by Aravest and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Group committed to sustainable investments and decarbonisation across Asia Pacific – the fund's investment strategy involves providing growth equity and acquiring influential stakes in infrastructure platforms, primarily focused on the energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors. Green Tower is the Green Giraffe Group’s proprietary investment and development arm focused on co-investing, co-developing and co-operating project and corporate seed initiatives in the renewable energy and associated energy transition sectors – its investments range from individual projects to start-ups and scale-ups, investing across all energy transition sectors and operating worldwide.
