MISSION Aura Yoga California, Inc is a yoga and wellness nonprofit organization. We inspire individuals to live empowered, creative and vibrant lives. The physical and emotional benefits of yoga are profoundly healing and life affirming. Our events will transform, revitalize and strengthen the mind, body and spirit. ACTIVITIES Aura Yoga CA will host an empowerment program for young adults and teens to practice yoga and leadership, yoga and the healing mind, yoga and human rights awareness, yoga and public art and community enrichment. AYC will host public yoga retreats, workshops and classes. Aura Yoga CA explores dynamic innovations in the field and is working with the City of San Francisco; and plans to work with the U.S. Department of Justice The Office of Violence Against Women and the United Nations Women to increase knowledge and awareness of gender inequality and violence and will uphold global norms and standards.
