Aurra Studios is an independent studio and podcast network, founded in 2021. We develop world-class original and acquired scripted and unscripted audio content, including cross-platform, branded, commissioned and companion series tied to existing IP for audiences around the world. Podcasting is taking the world by storm, with awareness and listenership reaching all-time highs as the US audience alone breached 100m monthly active users and predicted to reach over 160m by 2023. As is commonplace with digital entertainment this wave, started in the US, is now traversing the planet and already approaching the billion-dollar industry milestone. Un-surprisingly, the force behind this wave is content, with 2020 marking the year when non-English language programming exceeded English. The demand-side world of brands and agencies have clocked this phenomenal growth in listenership and major developments in analytical tools by Nielsen et al, therefore releasing mainstream digital ad spend, and buying into Podcast audiences. And it’s working. Podcast advertising enhances all the brand attribute metrics and out-performs many other media types in-part due to the intimacy of the listening experience.
