Aussie World, Downunder Drive is an award-winning theme park located on the Bruce Highway at Palmview on the Sunshine Coast. Just over one hour from Brisbane, 15 minutes from Caloundra and 10 minutes from Mooloolaba. The precinct has evolved over the last 25 years from being a Pub with a small general store to becoming one of Queensland’s favourite family tourist destinations. The site encapsulates 55 acres with approximately a third of our available land currently developed. In the last 12 months nearly guests have experienced the Theme Park and over visitors have patronised the precinct in the same timeframe; the business employs 200 staff. Key attributes of our tourism precinct- Theme Park 15 acre theme park – featuring more than 30 rides and attractions, side show alley, show stage, café and souvenir store. Iconic Pub 3 storey iconic pub – which is officially Australia’s most photographed pub has been a Sunshine Coast tourism icon for 30 years. The Pub will soon undergo a multi-million dollar refurbishment to create an iconic new tourist attraction for the Sunshine Coast. The Shed Function & Events Centre The Shed has recently undergone a $1m plus refurbishment to create the Sunshine Coast’s most unique functions and events venue. Connecting the theme park to our iconic pub, The Shed plays host to corporate and community events up to people and we are back into live entertainment providing the stage for live music acts, comedy and all forms of live performances. Retail Precinct On the southern end of the Aussie World precinct is a unique and quirky retail precinct which provides a great location to refuel, recharge or enjoy a specialty shopping experience just off the Bruce Highway.
