AustCyber – the Australian Cyber Security Growth Network, was established in January 2017 under the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Centres Initiative. Our mission is to support the domestic cyber security industry grow and become more capable and competitive, to help embed cyber resilience as a practice across the Australian economy and to establish Australia as a leading force in the rapidly expanding global cyber security market. We exist to: Grow Australia's cyber security ecosystem Export Australia's cyber capabilities to the world Establishing Australia as the leading centre for cyber education Some of our current priorities are: To set up a national network of AustCyber nodes, To build a pipeline of skilled cyber security professionals, and To support cyber security solutions from initial set up to export. We also manage a Projects Fund which provides matched funding to industry-led projects that meet our criteria.
