Australian Baseball League

Owned and operated by Baseball Australia, the Australian Baseball League serves as Australia's premier professional baseball competition, while attracting players and fans from all over the world. Due to the unique time of year that the ABL is in season (October-February), high profile talent flocks to Australia from some of the world's top professional baseball leagues. League alumni Rhys Hoskins, Didi Gregorious, and Ronald Acuna are but a few of the 40+ Australian Baseball League players that have made their Major League debuts in the last 9 years of the new advent of the ABL. With an 8-team league that now includes an all Korean national team in Geelong, Victoria and an Auckland franchise, the ABL is one of the most global professional sports leagues in Australia.
