Aut2bFit™ is a non-profit foundation that brings together parents and families of children touched by autism with a community of athletes and physically active, fitness-conscious people who are committed to raising awareness for autism through the love of sport and a lifestyle of family-fun activities. The benefits for autism spectrum kids incorporating sports and fitness as a lifestyle into their daily routines is like no other; the motor planning work, the sensory integration, the gross motor development, the team and friendship building, the inspiration and positivity in a world of theirs that unfortunately is dominated by “cannots” or “will nevers.” With this in mind, Aut2bFit™ will build a community, introduce several sports through hosting day camps and events, introduce the athletes to kids, create experiences that lead to life-longs pursuits, friendships, and mentorships.
