Auto-Plas International

Established in 1957 as Screeno Prints Ltd, the company provided vacuum formed plastic components and screen printing to the media industry. Progressive research and development brought additional products to their portfolio, allowing them to supply a broader range of industries. In 1960 Screeno Prints Ltd became Auto-Plas International Ltd, specialising in plastic manufacturing. The company founders continued to drive innovation and development, resulting in the invention of a rear windscreen sun visor which became a worldwide success. This confirmed the company’s place as one of the industry leaders and also contributed to the achievement of the Queens award for export on three occasions. The company went on to develop a multitude of automobile styling accessories, working as an approved Original Equipment Manufacturer for a number of global vehicle brands and trade suppliers. This division of the company is still very successful today and continues to adapt to respond to market changes. In came further diversification; effective investment and pioneering product development allowed for the launch of a range of glazing cassettes for doors. These proved extremely successful and this division of the company continues to expand and develop new designs which trail blaze within the sector.
