We are also the official distributor of Varta in South Africa and selected African countries. AutoX provides an extensive range of batteries, including automotive car and truck batteries, motorcycle and leisure batteries, and industrial batteries. We are proudly South African and therefore take great pride in offering affordable and accessible brands to our local market. We serve the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the aftermarket replacement customer. We supply some of the major OEMs and over automotive replacement outlets across South Africa and selected African countries. The retail outlets include parts retail stores, fitment centres, a unique Xpress battery specialist channel as well as resellers of batteries in the DIY (Do It Yourself) and DIFM (Do It For Me) markets. Our Rentech Renewable Technologies brand plays in the renewable energy space and is a preferred supplier of industrial batteries and equipment, purpose-fit for various applications. AutoX also acquired AutoCycle Centre, importers and distributors of premium and quality motorcycle hard parts and accessories since 1968.
