With 45 years of experience and a Chemistry degree from Nottingham University, Tony has built a distinguished career in the coatings industry. He drives innovation and sustainability in global markets, including North America, the Middle East and Europe. AVACE, named after Tony’s five children - Andrew, Victoria, Alexandra, Catherine and Elizabeth - embodies his personal commitment to quality and customer service. Tony's extensive experience spans distribution, sales, marketing, and product development in complex, multi-site businesses. Accompanying this expertise, is his proven record of managerial success in a range of highly demanding manufacturing environments. A former president of the British Coatings Federation (BCF) powder group, he is a recognised leader in the field of paints and powder coatings. Under Tony’s leadership, AVACE operates from the West Midlands, producing high-performance, eco-friendly coatings that meet stringent environmental standards, such as BREEAM, LEED, and WELL. The company specialises in carbon reduction and air quality paints, with verified low CO2 emissions. AVACE is also an ambassador for the Net Zero Business Pledge, reflecting its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the manufacturing and construction industries. The company’s innovative products include natural lime-based coatings reinforced with graphene, which meet globally recognised certifications for sustainability and indoor air quality.
