Established in Victoria in 1984, Avalon Mechanical has grown into a well-recognized Mechanical Engineering Consultancy firm, specializing in Mechanical Design Systems for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression. In 2005, Avalon Energy Management division of Avalon Mechanical was created to focus on energy management for existing campuses and commissioning authority services for new construction. We are LEED® certified by the US Green Building Counsel, and an approved Building Owner's Representative under the BC Green Building Retrofit Program. Avalon has taken the role of LEED® Accredited Professional, Commissioning Authority, and Energy Simulator on LEED® projects. Our work experience includes Site services, HVAC, service water, plumbing, steam, fire suppression, refrigeration, DDC and conventional control systems; designed, specified, and tendered for hundreds of projects in a range of sizes. Unusual applications have included submarines, art galleries, surgical rooms, archives, large data processing centres, hospitals, coffee roasting facility, glass blowing studio, and ship repair. With offices in Victoria, Nanaimo, and Vancouver, our brilliant team is comprised of individuals who are professional, reliable, experienced, and love what they do!
