In 2016, Avant was founded with an intention to provide a platform that for Priority Sector Lending addressing both a Lender’s need and the borrower’s requirements. Avant proposes to address the nuances of not only building a high quality Priority Sector Lending portfolio of Banks and NBFCs but also to address the requirements of the borrower which hitherto has been provided only asset backed loans and not something that address the needs of his entire household. The target segment for Avant is Small and Medium size Transporters and Infrastructure equipment providers while addressing their household needs of Asset Loans, Education Loans and Affordable Housing Loans. The expertise of the Management team of Avant is across all functions of Lending and Managing Financial Services Businesses and basis this the Company has also envisioned to have Whole Sale Credit for Large Transporters, Medium to Large Infrastructure Developers as well as Realtors to enhance fee based income. Apart from this Avant is also well poised for Advisory activity for Financial Services Institutions in Collection Infrastructure as well as leveraging large client relationship for strategy consulting. The near term vision of Avant is to set up a Non-Banking Finance Company to address the target audience to get funding apart from facilitation services.
