This is the philosophy of our Company Founder, Dr. Kanthi Lewis, a scientific expert in the field of regeneration and biomimetics – the science of replicating natural processes and structures, and taking inspiration from nature to facilitate rejuvenation and regeneration. With over 10 years cutting edge experience in the field, her research included developing specialised mineral micro-capsules to deliver nutrients to cells, replicating natural tissue formation and exploring the effect of different compounds on cell activity and collagen production. After being awarded scholarships and prizes for her research and working in cutting edge research laboratories in New York and Europe, and, she returned home to Australia to establish Avatika Pty.
