Avep Public Fund

AVEP Public Fund is a specialized non-profit oriented development NGO. It is denominationally and politically independent and is primarily committed to doing rural development. Its mission is to contribute to capacity-building and the well-being of local beneficiaries, leading to sustainable and innovative development of regions in the Kyrgyz Republic. AVEP PF has developed from a mere legal entity to a rapidly growing local NGO that has successfully acquired large mandates from HELVETAS, ICCO, European Commission, US Embassy, Embassy of Finland, GiZ, Handicap International, Kumtor Operating Company (Centerra Gold), etc. AVEP PF has rich experience in economic and social development in the KR, currently implementing projects Issyk-Kul, Chui, Bishkek, Talas, Batken, Osh and Jalalabad. AVEP has a broad experience in and the necessary instruments for the management of complex development projects. In its operations, AVEP PF combines professional knowledge with social commitment. It has a process and thematic expertise combined with local anchorage and geographical know-how. AVEP PF applies a decentralized management system which delegates high autonomy to project managers while enabling the Director to supervise through a project monitoring system. AVEP PF is committed to cooperate on a partnership basis with and in favor of the rural population, promote their basic rights for a better life, strengthen local structures and sustainable development. In its programs, AVEP PF concentrates its actions in the following working areas: 1. Skills Development, including initiatives in Vocational Education and Training (VET), support to and lobbying for reforms in the VET System; 2. Rural Economy Development, focusing on sustainable value chains, private and financial sector development, as well as agriculture and tourism; 3.
