Aviators India was set up in early 1994 and is headquartered in Bangalore. It has diversified interests in ancillary support services of aviation and is active in consultancy services for helicopter management, purchase and setting up operational administrative departments for airlines and corporate. Engaged in helicopter and helicopter charter sales and management, we have now taken the next big leap to launch ‘Air Ambulance Service’ using Airbus H130 helicopters fitted with modern life-support equipment to rescue victims and patients in critical conditions in a timely manner to increase survival rate. Aviators Air Ambulance will be the first of its kind in India whose service offering will provide complete assistance for your dear ones and take the stress of medical flight coordination completely off your hands. The first phase will cover all 5 southern states of India – Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with 3 helicopters. THOUGHT BEHIND THE PROJECT: Other than a few ad-hoc operators, India lacked dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) operators. Realizing our dreams of providing air ambulance services for the critically ill and injured, Aviators proposed to start a HEMS using helicopters to transport patients from the site of accident to a hospital or from one hospital to another. The main objectives of starting a dedicated service as this include -* Transport of medical personnel and equipment directly to the scene of the accident /incident (or nearby) and rapid transport of patients/victims to hospitals.* Direct to a designated site to meet the road ambulance or private vehicle to facilitate carriage of patients by helicopter to a hospital.* Planned urgent and rapid transfers of critically ill patients requiring specialized care between hospitals.* Transport of organ transport and specialty drugs in critical medical emergencies to save the life of a patient.
