Bright, bold and not afraid to be different. We publish books inspiring deaf children to reach for the stars. Motivated by our personal experience of working with deaf children as they learn to listen, read and speak (or sign), we design our aspirational books and play-to-learn resources primarily for young super HEARoes. Some of our authors are professional Teachers of the Deaf and Speech and Language Therapists, while others are experienced ‘parent practitioners’ who wish to raise the bar for deaf children and see them exceed expectations. Our books feature bold and optimistic deaf characters, who are proud to sport their cochlear implants and/or hearing aids and love to communicate - whether by spoken or sign language. Alongside their friends, teachers, therapists and families, our super HEARoes encounter and overcome diverse challenges. These may be specific to their listening and spoken or sign language learning journeys or general life experiences.
