Avirex Limited is an apparel & fashion company Inspired by the speed and grit of aviators, Avirex was born in New York City in 1975. By the early 1980’s, we supplied military aviation apparel for the U.S. Air Force. America’s elite Ace pilots proudly wore our classic A2 style and Avirex quickly gained global recognition as a leader in leather bomber jackets. The finest leather skins, highly designed linings impeccable details and themed embroidered patches became synonymous with Avirex jackets. As we evolved in the 1990’s and early we supported the creative community as it was developing street culture. From DJs and artists to dancers, film makers and musicians, the Brand was associated with premium status. Embraced by the tastemakers, Avirex became the go-to leather jacket for hip-hop heavy hitters like Notorious B.I.G, Snoop, Method Man, and Nas, along with industry chart-toppers including Usher and Mariah Carey. Today, we are still designed in New York City and stay true to our authentic American heritage and the culture embedded in our brand roots.
