Avo Magazine

AVO Magazine is an web magazine focussing on any topic related to Japan. It is AVO’s goal to share as many Japan-related news items as frequent as possible. AVO Magazine is part of AVO Forum, online since 2003. In 2013 AVO celebrated 10 years AVO Forum with AVO J-Rock Festival, a music festival with three bands: VANIRU, ADAMS and GOTHIKA. We work together with different (international) organizations to arrange reports, reviews, and interviews. AVO has been a sponsor for several Japan-related events in the Netherlands, next to that AVO organize concerts in the Netherlands under the name AVO Events & Promotion. To keep in touch with our many Dutch and Belgian Japan loving visitors, most of our blog entries are in Dutch. However, this doesn’t mean we wouldn’t appreciate your help! Have a tip about something awesome or do you know about something new that should be on AVO Magazine? Then feel free to contact us! AVO accepts press releases, interview requests, promotional materials for Japan-related events and appearances. You can contact AVO in English at info@avo-magazine.nl AVO’s motor is Francisca Hagen (Fran) who started AVO in 2003 and has been the face of AVO ever since. But AVO has also a few Dutch, Belgian and even Japanese guest writers who like to write when they have a story for AVO Magazine, as well photographers and translators and a long partnership with Miyako Studio.
