Avon Lpc

Avon LPC represents 232 pharmacy contractors across BANES, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. We work to represent Avon Pharmacies to Commissioners, NHS England, Local and National Organisation and the public. We also co-ordinate a comprehensive training programme including face to face training and webinars for pharmacy teams. We aim to broaden the knowledge of the wider pharmacy team to enable them to better support their customers. There are 10,500 pharmacies in England dispensing over 960 million prescriptions each year. Daily 1.8 million people visit pharmacy, with the average person visiting 14 times per year and 99% of patients reach their pharmacy in under 20 minutes. This is why Community Pharmacy is so important and the LPC is the voice of pharmacy across Avon.
