Over Nova Scotians work in some aspect of the province’s community and health care sector. The health and well-being of the health and community services workforce and the quality of their work environment has a profound impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the service they deliver and support they provide. AWARE-NS is dedicated to delivering programs and services that promote effective practices for health and safety throughout these sectors and ensuring that health and safety educational resources are available. We understand that our stake- holders depend on our research and insight to develop new and innovative ways to strengthen safety awareness in their workplaces. Because of this, we have developed our website and our OHS Online Learning Campus to meet these needs and make it easy to find and share resources.
