AwareCare is paused, but the mission is not. We remain committed to improving safety, verified care, and transparency in eldercare while we focus on running other businesses. AwareCare was created because we care deeply about the realities of caregiving in senior living and long-term care. Falls, missed tasks, documentation gaps, and staffing pressure, among many other issues, create daily risk for residents, families, operators, and insurers. For over two years, we focused on understanding the problem in depth with all constituents in this space; caregivers, operators, insurers, and legal experts. That work reinforced a simple truth: no single device or feature is enough. It will take multiple layers of technology and people working together, in the room and in the cloud, to truly support caregivers, prevent harm, and document what really happens at the point of care. Our long-term goal is to build out a full system in partnership with operators who believe in verified care, transparent reporting and providing the best possible product in eldercare. We want AwareCare to be shaped with industry leaders who are serious about doing the right thing and proving it. For now, we have paused active product development and commercialization while we look for the right operational partner to help build and prove the model.
