Awesome provides domain trained AI agents that help structure ROPAs, prepare DPIAs, assess AI Act risks, capture facts, and produce high quality documentation. Founded in Flevoland by Marianne de Feijter, Dick Sterk, and Roel Wessels, Awesome was created after years of hearing the same message from practitioners. Compliance work is too manual, too fragmented, too repetitive, and too slow for modern client demands. We set out to change that. In 2025 we raised €1.2 million led by Horizon Flevoland and leading legal tech investors to expand our engineering and legal operations and prepare for a full European rollout in 2026.
