AWI Consulting was started in by Tony Ieradi. At that time, Tony was working for a local, legendary convenience store chain named Wawa Food Markets. He has been working in the information technology and food service arena since he was fresh out of high school in 1981. Throughout his career, Tony has held numerous positions in the field of information technology ranging from Computer Operator to Sr. Director. Tony considers having the good fortune to work on the team that designed, tested, and deployed Wawa‘s revolutionary Customer Activated Terminal (CAT) food ordering kiosk, as one of his greatest achievements. This innovation in the C-store arena empowered the customer to create their own sandwich or special-order food item. In 2005 Tony resigned from Wawa and finished his Executive Master’s Degree in Food Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University, and continue to grow his consulting practice. In 2007 Tony was recruited by AmerisourceBergen, a pharmaceutical distribution and services company, to lead up the development of infrastructure standards, processes, and procedures. During that time, he was one of the lead IT architects on the development of a sqf automated pharmacy. He continued to work at AmerisourceBergen through 2015 holding several senior roles including Director of End User Technologies as well as Sr. Director, Data Center Management. Tony is now continuing his consulting practice and working with several pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and retail companies on special assignment including data center transformation and strategic planning projects.
